As of : April 2020
This is my seventh year since joining this company.
My previous job at Nippon Express had not much in common in business category, so I was not quite sure whether I would be able to utilize my past experience. The previous job was in the logistics industry, and I had some knowledge of the design and management of facilities specializing in logistics, but I was just a beginner in this industry.
However, it may have been better to start as a beginner than only knowing half way. I had gradually became able to understand the content of business while listening to the stories of experienced employees, and there have been occasions in which I could make use of the experience of my previous job. Experience in previous positions is not a major thing, but a principle common to all works that are “to be faithful to the basics.”
I think that following the basics is the most important thing in promoting work no matter how different a job type or industry is. I will continue to use my experience of following the fundamentals at this company to help as much as possible in the future.
