Efforts to Achieve Fukuda & Partners’ SDGs Goal

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals aimed at achieving a sustainable and better world by 2030, as described in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001. Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets, it pledges that “Leave no one behind” on the planet.
Based on its corporate philosophy of “enriching customers and society through co-sourcing services in construction and real estate,” Fukuda and Partners strives to contribute to society with the goal of sustainable development through local employment business activities in Myanmar.

Activity Results to meet SDGs Target

As part of our efforts to achieve our SDGs goals, F&P is developing complex facility in partnership with local company in Myanmar.

Developing the complex facility “L.L. Town Tharkayta” through partnership with local company in Myanmar

Developed L.L. Town Thyarkayta, a logistics warehouse and service office, in the Tharkayta area of Yangon City.
This is a logistics warehouse equipped with refrigeration and freezing function. It has 24-hour, highly secure offices, a rental conference room that can accommodate 180 people, a refreshing space, and parking spaces for more than 180 vehicles.
Contribute to the development of Myanmar’s regional economy through F&P’s business as a delivery hub and convenience facility for food, clothing, and housing-related products that support the lifestyles of the Tharkayta region, and provide a workplace where local people can work comfortably.

F&P Initiatives

To contribute to local development

Develop logistics real estate for offices, schools, clinics, stores, etc., and work to improve the environment in the areas of the Tharkyat district, with L.L. Town at the center to create a district that supports people’s lives.
In Myanmar, where there is a shortage of high-quality refrigerators due to delays in the cold supply chain, we have developed high-quality freezers and refrigerators that leverage Japan’s technological capabilities.
Contributing to the creation of a foundation for lifestyles that can deliver safe and secure food products.

F&P’s CSR Activities

As a responsible member of society, F&P has undertaken CSR activities based on the F&P philosophy.
We will continue to actively engage in a wide range of activities, including the nurturing of young people through the promotion of rugby, support for disaster-stricken areas, and social support for Myanmar. In addition to raising corporate value, we will contribute to the sustainable growth of society.
