Why did you want to work for F&P?

After seeing F&P in a Japan Myanmar Magazine (in Japan) then looked at F&P Homepage. Loved how F&P is investing in the logistics and infrastructure in Myanmar.

Best part about Working of F&P?

Huge emphasis on team work, well organized, and get to talk to people with different background and experiences

Culture and how is it different from other companies?(especially in Myanmar)

I feel compared to Japan, Myanmar is not so strict. There are not so many rules in Myanmar.

Challenges you encountered working for F&P?

Japanese language, unique and complex culture. When I first started, I experienced culture shock. But everyone is so nice, patient and helpful. That really helped me push through and I enjoyed coming to work.

What does your daily routine look like?

It is always changing, and quite busy with most projects having a tight schedule. We are always using engineering to work on warehouse design and ensuring that they are incompliance with the rules and regulations.

Do you think F&P is a very fair company? Treats you well/well compensated for your efforts?

Yes, we can get raises if can get engineering certificates, and architect certificates.

How has F&P helped you grow professionally and individually?

Professionally, I feel that I have become more of a team player, and have a deeper understanding and appreciation for what I learned in school. I am also learning about the different rules and regulations and I am happy to work in a country where the rules are one of the strictest in the world. Personally, I feel like I have a deeper understanding of Japan culture, and thinking. I also feel more open minded because everyone`s different background and thinking, he finds it interesting to see how people do or see things differently. That was evident through their designs.

Would you recommend F&P to a friend? And why?

I am happy with working F&P. There is so much innovation, focus on customers, and it is a nice place to work, especially as a foreigner, but I recommend and think individuals should have decent Japanese level proficiency skills.
