<Japanese Company Expansion>, F&P Real-estate service company, launches a full-scale joint venture [Construction Industry]

FUKUDA AND PARTNERS Co., Ltd. (F&P, Tokyo), a company providing a co-sourcing service* in construction and real-estate services for logistics and retail facilities, has established its affiliated company in Myanmar, jointly with Fukamatsugumi Co., Ltd. (Miyagi-ken), and will start a full-scale joint business in the country.(*Co-sourcing: a business model where the contractee and contractor share management resources and business processes.)

F&P Myanmar Co., Ltd, with 90% investment by F&P and 10% investment by Fukamatsugumi, opened its office in Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar, in December 2014. F&P made its investment through its subsidiary company in Singapore, Fukuda & Partners Asia Pte. Ltd.

F&P Myanmar has already been contracted for real-estate brokerage as well as design and supervision of serviced apartments. Through its achievements in brokerage of offices for Japanese corporations and residential housing for Japanese expatriates, it will form cooperative relationships with local architect offices. As the activities of Japanese logistics companies accelerate in Myanmar, it intends to establish a differentiated construction & real-estate business model there, providing comprehensive services undertaking site-searching, project management, design and supervision, constructor selection and operation management, just as F&P has been doing in Japan.

Affiliating with local architect offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc., F&P will build its business network in the Asia region. In the future, with its Singapore office as its regional hub, it will enhance its business in Asia, aiming to generate 20 to 30 % of its total revenue in oversea business, and half of that in Myanmar.
