Winning the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 2025 Energy Conservation Grand Prize

2026/02/18

We are pleased to announce that four companies involved in the logistics facility development project, in which our company served as the designer, have jointly won the “Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (ZEB/ZEH Category)”—the highest honor in the Energy Conservation Case Study Division of the “2025 Energy Conservation Grand Prize” hosted by the Energy Conservation Center, Japan.

The Energy Conservation Grand Prize is an annual award system established to promote energy conservation awareness throughout Japan and contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality. The prize recognizes exemplary energy conservation initiatives that serve as models for others, as well as products and business models with superior energy-saving performance.

The project recognized for this award is the energy conservation initiative undertaken through collaboration among the tenant, owner, designer, and contractor in the “LOGICROSS Nagoya Minato” development project for a new logistics facility.
Our company promoted this project from the designer’s perspective.
This initiative was highly evaluated as an advanced case study with high applicability regardless of region or scale, and is deployable as a standard model for future logistics facilities.

We remain committed to working together with our partner companies to contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality and the development and operation of logistics facilities that contribute to building a sustainable society.

Award Theme and Achievements

“ZEB Implementation and Energy Conservation in Logistics Centers – Collaborative Efforts by Tenant, Owner, Designer, and Contractor”

Logistics facilities face significant challenges due to high energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from 24-hour operations, making it difficult to achieve CO₂ reduction targets through conventional methods alone.
To address this, the four parties—tenant, owner, designer, and contractor—worked in close collaboration to implement comprehensive environmental solutions aimed at achieving ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) status from the design stage.
