Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for “Kitakyushu Nagano Tsuda Logistics Facility (Tentative Name)” by Kyushu Railway Company and Yoshida Kaiun Logi Solutions Co., Ltd.
The groundbreaking ceremony of Kyushu Railway Company(JR Kyushu) and Yoshida Kaiun Logi Solutions Co., Ltd. ’s “Kitakyushu Nagano Tsuda Logistics Facility (Tentative Name) Construction”, which F&P provides project management service, was held on August 8, 2025.
This facility is a BTS-type 1-3 slope facility equipped with dry storage, chilled storage, frozen storage, and automated racks.
The site is located in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City, approximately 1.7 km from the Kokura Higashi Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway, a major transportation network, offering excellent transportation convenience.
F&P has promoted this project by implementing all stages from the basic plan to the selection of design and construction contractors, and by overseeing the basic design and the implementation design carried out by the selected contractor, Sanko Build Inc.
This project was designed through detailed consultations with the client from the basic planning stage, incorporating abundant know-how and ideas gained from the client’s numerous existing facilities. Furthermore, despite the shallow, flat site shape, the building layout requested by the client and the multi-level structure achieved through an inner slope have realized the desired building scale.
We will continue to promote this project, overseeing construction supervision work toward completion in January 2027. Following the design phase, we will strive to create a facility that meets our client’s needs and ensures their satisfaction.
