The groundbreaking ceremony of AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings Inc.’s “(tentative name) AZ-COM Matsubushi (Building A) construction”, which F&P provides design and supervision, was held on May 24, 2023.

This project is the first stage construction of a new food distribution center by AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings Inc., and will be constructed in a uniform area within the Matsufushi Tajima Industrial Park, which has been developed by Saitama Prefecture.
It is approximately 25 minutes from the Misato Interchange on the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway, with good access to Joban Expressway, Tohoku Expressway, and Ken-O Expressway, and is expected to become even more convenient with the opening of the East Saitama Road in spring 2025.

F&P have been involved in this project from the stage of creating the overall master plan for the project site, and now that the implementation design for the first phase (Building A) has been completed and the project has moved into the construction phase, we will be providing supervision service.
We will also provide total support for the creation of the center, including future plans for the project.

Taking advantage of its location within 25 km of central Tokyo, the facility will be equipped with large-scale freezing and refrigeration facility and will be seismically isolated to serve as a BCP logistics base that will supply food and other supplies in the event of a large-scale disaster in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
We will aim to complete construction by the end of January 2025 with no accidents and no disasters within the construction period to create a high-quality facility that meets the needs of our customers.
