The construction of GLP Japan Inc.’s “GLP Nosu” has completed.

2021/04/13

The completion ceremony of GLP Japan Inc.’s “GLP Nosu”, which F&P supervised structural design and framework, was held on April 6, 2021.

The site is located on the east side of Lake Biwa, an old and critical transportation hub. It is located close to Ryuo IC and Ritto IC on the Meishin Expressway, which have improved convenience for two major urban areas with the Shin-Meishin Expressway (between Kameyama Junction and Kusatsutanakami IC) opening, and also to National Route No.8.

This facility was planned to last over 50 years as a BTS-type logistics facility for Kurasu-up, a specialized trading company specializing in household goods, interior goods, and other lifestyle goods.

The elevator and vertical carrier for luggage on the single-sided berth landing on the south side of the first floor was made into a BOX type that carries cargo vertically, creating a space with depth that matches a small-scale land and realizing an efficient placement of stocking spaces. Because of the large proportion of female workers, the interior of the core and office areas incorporates a bright and pleasant atmosphere.

F&P expect this facility to play a part in the social infrastructure and contribute to the further business development of Kurasu-up and GLP Japan Inc.
