The completion ceremony of Nippon Prologis REIT, Inc.’s “Prologis Park Iwanuma” was held.
The completion ceremony of Nippon Prologis REIT, Inc.’s “Prologis Park Iwanuma”, which F&P conducted design and construction supervision, was held on May 11, 2022.
The facility is a logistics warehouse with high disaster prevention measures, for the reasons that it experienced flood damage from the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011 and a massive fire in April 2020.
F&P provided design and construction supervision for the project.
This project is planned with the first floor at KBM+3.1m (flood level KBM+2.6m) based on lessons learned from the flooding caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. In addition, based on lessons learned from a massive fire, a balcony is installed on the north side of the second floor to assist firefighting activities, and sprinklers are voluntarily installed in areas not facing exterior walls.
F&P hopes that this facility will respond to various needs and contribute to the business development of business owners and customers.
