President’s Message September 2023
Last year, we launched the “Chiba Minamiboso SDGs Co-Creation Rice Project” with the theme of “Protecting Land Degradation Through Partnership.” This year, we planted rice on April 23 and successfully harvested it on August 26.
We are pleased to deliver the “Co-Creation Rice” we have cultivated together as a token of our gratitude to everyone.
In addition to being a gift for F&P employees, a portion of the rice harvested this year will be donated to food banks and children’s dining halls.
September 2023
We have shipped the Co-Creation Rice!
We have sorted and shipped the rice that was planted and harvested by members who participated in the Co-Creation Rice Project, as a expression of our gratitude to our employees and partners.
This year, we are delivering approximately 5 kg each to 260 members, an increase from last year.
August 2023
We harvested the rice!
We were blessed with good weather and were able to complete the rice harvest safely on a sunny day.
This year, due to the prolonged extremely hot weather, it was a challenging task working under the intense summer sun.
The harvested rice will be polished, sorted, and packaged at our headquarter office.
April 2023
We planted rice in 2023!
Our SDGs rice cultivation project has started once again this year!
With lessons learned from last year, we carefully planted the rice while stretching ropes to ensure they were neatly aligned. This is a valuable opportunity for employees and their families, as well as many customers, to interact with everyone.
We plan to harvest the rice this year and distribute it to all employees.
