Fukuda and Partners was able to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2021. I sincerely thank our customers and partners for their support and the efforts of our employees.
We are a company that started in 2001 with only three desks in a small office with a monthly rent of 30,000 yen. With limited funding for business, all we had were “wisdom”, “agility to act”, and “courage”. We were aware of our capacity. With limited resources (people, time, etc.), we narrowed the scope of our business to logistics facilities and commercial facilities.
We have been expanding our service by considering and implementing using our expertise in “Construction and Real Estate” to meet the needs of our customers. We have uniquely evolved as a co-sourcing service company by pursuing customer convenience and quality improvement putting “service quality” as our first priority. In addition, by building a track record in project management and design and supervision works, which require advanced skills and know-how, we have gained the trust of our customers thus growing our business.
“Co-sourcing service”, which we have cultivated over many years, differs from the so-called “outsourcing,” in which we share and utilize management resources and business processes mutually between our customers and us. We can build in more unified relationships and provide further added value to our customers’ businesses. Specifically, we specialize in real estate acquisition, facility planning, design and supervision, PJM, renovation of existing facilities, building management, and other functions of a Construction and Development Department on behalf of our customers, we can substitute the roles and functions of the Construction Department and the Development Department. By handling the sophisticated and specialized know-how and acting as an agent for operations that require specialization, customers can then focus on their original core business. This will improve operational efficiency, reduce project costs, and improve management decisions.
Over the past 24 years, we have accumulated a track record in the creation of logistics facilities in all categories, including logistics facilities that store products such as food, pharmaceuticals, apparel, as well as frozen and refrigerated warehouses, distribution processing centers for high-frequency, low-volume logistics, large-scale distribution centers for e-commerce, multi-tenant large-scale logistics centers, and hazardous logistics warehouses. Our experience and achievements have gained trust, and the number of customers has exceeded 870 companies. In addition, in the 24 years since its foundation, project management (PJM) has achieved a total floor space of approximately 269 million sqft in design, supervision, and management of logistics facilities. We will enhance this experience to create logistics for our customers and improve the quality of our specialized services, thereby providing higher value to our customers.
Fukuda and Partners aims to provide construction and real estate expertise to more customers as a “convenient and valuable service.” and name it as “infrastructure for co-sourcing services.” In addition to building logistics and commercial facilities that support people’s lives, the new medium-term business plan starting from October 2023 will focus on building facilities that contribute to the local environment that benefit customers’ BCPs, carbon neutrals that utilize disaster prevention and renewable energies, RE100, and SDGs. The management plan will also focus on improving lifestyle infrastructure and strive to fulfill our social responsibility as a corporation.
We will continue to respond to the ever-changing needs of our customers and aim to become a true partner that is loved by our customers.
