Support for the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan Tournament

With the purpose of promoting rugby in Japan, we have focused on rugby promotion activities, including participation in minor conventions and young people development programs through Scrum Japan Program.
After the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan Tournament, F&P received a certificate of commendation for its continuous support from the Rugby World Cup Organizational Committee 2019.

Participation in “Scrum Japan Program” Sponsorship

We sponsored the Scram Japan Program, which was launched by the Japan Rugby Football Union that conducts various activities to realize the “fostering of children’s youth education” through rugby for children of the future generations.
Through this program, we promote and nurture rugby, mainly for children, and provide support to develop their abilities to play an active role in the world.。
We endorse this as part of our social contribution activities, participate in the form a sponsorship and support it as a social contribution.

Support for Kamaishi Unosumai Memorial Stadium

The Kamaishi Unosumai Memorial Stadium is located at a district that suffered enormous damages and victims from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. It was constructed on the site of Unosumai Elementary School and Kamaishi East Junior High School, which was completely destroyed, although all the students were miraculously saved.
It is the only stadium that was newly constructed for The Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan Tournament. Out of the 6,000 permanent seats, 5,000 seats are made of wood, and local cedar wood damaged by the forest fires is also reused.
In August 2018, we participated in an opening event to commemorate the completion of the project. F&P will continue to contribute to the reconstruction of Kamaishi and the development of young people nationwide through rugby, as well as to regional exchanges and contributions.
